What is the ruling for one who commits repeated acts of defamation (Qadhf) without being punished initially?

If a person defames another multiple times without receiving the prescribed punishment (Hadd) for any of the instances, only a single Hadd is administered. This applies whether the defamation involved a single act of adultery or multiple distinct acts of adultery. This ruling is supported by a single established narration.
