What is the ruling if one slanders another, saying, 'You committed Zina while you were a minor'?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Ḥudūd (Prescribed Penalties)
Primary text
If the slanderer specifies an age of minority where sexual intercourse is impossible, it is treated as a slander that does not necessitate Hadd, similar to saying, 'You committed Zina while you were a polytheist.' However, if the slanderer specifies an age of minority where intercourse is possible, then the Hadd is applicable, according to one narration.
Supporting text
If the slanderer says, 'You committed Zina while you were a slave' or 'while you were a child,' the ruling follows the same differentiation based on the possibility of the act specified.
