Primary text

If two witnesses testify that he committed *zina* with a light-skinned woman, and two witnesses testify that he committed *zina* with a dark-skinned woman, all four are considered slanderers (*qadhifah*) and must receive the prescribed punishment (*hadd*).

Supporting text

This scenario, as cited by Al-Qadi regarding Abu Bakr's opinion, invalidates his prior claim that witnesses should be exempt from *hadd* when there are four testimonies, suggesting that disparity in the object of the testimony also constitutes invalidation of the complete testimony requirement.
