Primary text

If a woman testifies that the accused woman is imperforate (ratqa'), or if it is established that the accused man is castrated (majub), the prescribed punishment (hadd) must be imposed upon the male witnesses. This is because their testimony is definitively proven false regarding a matter not widely known by the public, necessitating the hadd upon them for bearing false witness.
