Is there a penalty of amputation for stealing bird droppings (sarsin)?

Amputation is not implemented for stealing bird droppings. This is because if the droppings are impure (najis), they have no value. If they are pure (tahir), they are not customarily possessed as property, and there is little demand for them, thus resembling soil used for building.
