What are the conditions for the permissibility of game secured by a trained predatory animal (Jarih)?

Book of Hunting and Slaughter
Primary text
For game killed by a predatory animal to be permissible, seven conditions must be met. The first condition is that the hunter must be qualified to perform ritual slaughter (Dhabh). Therefore, the game caught by a pagan, apostate, Zoroastrian, non-Scriptural non-Muslim, or a madman is not permissible, as the act of hunting is equated to ritual slaughter, and the animal is a tool like a knife. The Prophet peace be upon him stated, "If the dog takes it, that is its slaughter," establishing the hunter's qualification as analogous to the slaughterer's qualification.
