When are crops irrigated or fertilized with impurities considered pure again?

If crops were irrigated with impurities, they become pure if they are subsequently watered with pure substances, analogous to the ruling on an animal whose primary sustenance was impure (jalalah) being confined and fed pure food until it purifies.
