It is disliked to consume onions, garlic, leeks, radishes, and everything possessing a foul odor due to the smell, regardless of whether one intends to enter the Mosque or not. This is based on the statement of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Indeed, the angels are hurt by what hurts the people," reported by Ibn Majah. If someone consumes these, they are forbidden from approaching the place of prayer, based on the Prophet's saying: "Whoever eats of these two trees, let him not approach our place of prayer," or in another narration, "let him not approach our mosques," reported by Al-Tirmidhi, who classified it as authentic and sound (Hasan Sahih).
