What is the recommended etiquette after finishing food from a dish?

One who eats from a dish (qas'ah) and then licks it clean will have the dish supplicate for forgiveness for them, according to the statement of the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated by Nabisha. Similarly, one must not wipe their hand until they have licked it, because the blessing (barakah) might be present in any part of their food.
