Primary text
In cases of successive inheritance, one must divide the estate or the qirats by the first ruling. The resulting share allocated to the deceased second person is then divided according to that person's specific ruling. This process is then repeated sequentially for the third, fourth, and subsequent deceased individuals. Furthermore, if there is a common factor (muwafaqah) between the ruling number and the estate total, the lowest common denominator (waffaq) of both should be used for the calculations.
