When the counts are mutually disparate, one must multiply the counts of the groups together sequentially, and then multiply this final product by the original base of the shares to determine the corrected total issue size. If, in an example involving three paternal uncles, the other counts are such that they are disparate, multiplying the three disparate numbers together establishes an intermediate value, which is then multiplied by the original base (e.g., if the intermediate product is 30, multiplying by the original base of 6 yields 180).
