Primary text

In a scenario involving a son of a maternal uncle through the mother (Ibn Khālah min umm), a daughter of a maternal uncle through the father (Bint Khālah min ab), a daughter of a paternal cousin through the mother (Bint 'Amm min umm), and a son of a maternal uncle through the father (Ibn 'Ammah min ab): The designated portion (one-third) is calculated based on four parts, and the remaining two-thirds are also calculated based on four parts. This resolves to a total division based on twelve parts. According to the lineage scholars (Ahl al-Qarābah), the one-third portion belongs to the daughter of the maternal uncle (Bint al-Khālah), and the two-thirds portion belongs to the son of the maternal uncle (Ibn al-'Amm), resulting in a resolution based on three parts.
