When there are three distinct brothers, each half-free, the uterine brother receives half of one-sixth, the full brother receives half of the remainder, and the paternal brother receives the remaining half. The distribution resolves to forty-eight parts: the uterine brother receives four, the full brother receives twenty-two, and the paternal brother receives eleven.
