If the line descending from the paternal aunt (Ammah) terminates with a grandfather (Ab), the entire estate is assigned to her. If the line descending from her terminates with an uncle (Amm), the estate is divided equally between them (half and half). This principle also applies when the connecting relationship is through the mother (ummahāt al-sabab).
