Primary text

If a paternal half-brother (*akh li-ab*) is present alongside a uterine brother, the uterine brother receives one-sixth of the estate, and the remainder goes to the paternal half-brother. The same ruling applies if a full brother (*akh li-abawayn*) is present instead of the paternal half-brother.

Supporting text

According to the opinion of Ibn Mas'ud, the entire estate belongs to the cousin who is also a uterine brother.
