Primary text

If there is one additional sister (total of two sisters), the remainder after the husband's half is divided among the three remaining heirs (two sisters and the grandfather) into four parts. The sisters receive two shares each, and the grandfather receives one share. This distribution is supported by Ali and Ibn Mas'ud.

Supporting text

According to Ali and Ibn Mas'ud, when there are two sisters, they both receive two-thirds collectively, and the grandfather receives the rest, causing the shares to augment to eight.
