The default fraction basis for this issue is eighteen, which resolves into five hundred forty parts according to the view of the two *Manzilin* (scholars/schools). In this division, half of the total is equally shared between the son and daughter of the full-sibling sister, according to those who equate shares, or in unequal shares (two-thirds for one, one-third for the other) according to those who favor distinction. The maternal sibling's children receive one-third, amounting to one hundred eighty parts. The paternal sister's children receive ninety parts. The maternal sister's children receive ninety parts. The paternal brother's children receive ninety parts. The maternal sister's children receive sixty parts. The maternal sister's children receive thirty parts.

When there are three unrelated sons of brothers and three unrelated daughters of sisters, the maternal siblings' children receive one-third equally between them. The remainder goes to the children of the full-siblings: the daughter of the brother receives two-thirds, and the daughter of the sister receives one-third.
