If the wife inherits alongside two daughters, or a daughter and a son's daughter (Bint Ibn), or a daughter and a mother, or a grandmother, the grandfather is allotted the fixed share of one-sixth (Al-Suds). After this allotment, one share remains out of a total of twenty-four parts (Sihm min arba'atin wa 'ishrin) for the brothers and sisters.
