The same ruling applies to separate maternal uncles and their offspring because maternal uncles are brothers of the mother.

Supporting text

Examples include six daughters from six separate brothers: one-third goes to the offspring of the mother, and the remainder goes to the offspring of both parents. Six daughters from separate siblings: one-sixth goes to the offspring of the mother, and the remainder goes to the offspring of both parents. Muhammad's opinion grants one-third to the offspring of the mother.
