How is the estate of a Mutala'an (one who has undergone the Mula'anah oath) who died, leaving a daughter, a granddaughter through a son, and the mawla (freedman/legatee) of his mother, to be distributed?

Book of Inheritance Shares (Farā'id)
Primary text
The majority opinion dictates that the remainder of the estate, after the fixed shares are distributed, goes to the mawla of the deceased's mother. This distribution applies when the deceased leaves a daughter, a granddaughter through a son, and the mawla of his mother.
Supporting text
Ibn Mas'ud holds that the returned portion (*rad*) should be prioritized over the mawla. If the deceased's mother is also an heir, she receives one-sixth, and the remainder is subject to two narrations: one stating it goes to the mawla (the opinion of the majority), and the second stating it goes to the mother (the opinion of Ibn Mas'ud).
