Primary text

Once the share per qirat is known, every heir is allocated a portion corresponding to their total shares multiplied by the value of one qirat share. If an heir's remaining shares are less than a full qirat, that remainder is proportioned relative to the total shares of one qirat, and they receive that corresponding fraction. If the shares of one qirat contain a fraction, this fraction must be reduced to its simplest integer form (by finding a common denominator, expressed as 'mukharrij al-kasr'). Each heir receives full qirats according to the integer value of their shares, and the remainder of their shares is multiplied by the denominator of the reduced fraction ('mukharrij al-kasr') and then apportioned.
