Primary text
If the distribution involves a husband, a mother, two uterine brothers, and a paternal half-brother Khuntha, and the Khuntha's share in the female scenario is three out of nine, then half of that share is taken and added to the shares of the remaining heirs. The total is then scaled up until fractions are eliminated, resulting in fifteen units. The Khuntha receives three of these units (which is one-fifth). In the corresponding calculation (Tanzil), the distribution results in six shares out of thirty-six, meaning the Khuntha receives one-sixth.
