How is inheritance distributed when two claim a boy, one of them dies leaving a daughter and an uncle, and the other dies leaving a son of a son, and then the claimed boy dies leaving a mother?
Chapter on Sharing in Purity

Book of Inheritance Shares (Farā'id)
Primary text
If two men claim a boy and *Qafah* confirms both, and then one dies leaving 1000 units and a daughter and an uncle, and the other dies leaving 2000 units and a son of a son, and then the boy dies leaving 3000 units and a mother: The daughter receives one-third of her father's estate, and the boy receives two-thirds. The entire estate of the second claimant goes to the boy because he is his son, giving him precedence over the son of the son.
Supporting text
If the boy dies leaving 5666.67 units, his mother receives one-third of it, and his sister receives half of the remainder, with the rest going to the son of the son, as he is the son of his nephew; the uncle receives nothing. If his lineage is not established, the first claimant's daughter receives one-third of the 1000 units, and two-thirds are escrowed. All of the second claimant's estate is escrowed. When the boy dies, his mother receives 1900 units from his estate because the minimum case is that he is the son of the first claimant, meaning he died leaving 3333.33 units. The escrowed amount from the daughter's father's estate is returned to the daughter and the uncle, who settle upon it, as it belongs to them either from their counterpart or the boy. The escrowed amount from the second claimant's estate is returned to his son of a son, as it belongs to him either from his grandfather or his uncle. The mother is given 1900 units from the boy's estate because it is the minimum amount she is entitled to. 1777.78 units remain escrowed, of which the mother claims four-ninths (to complete one-third of 5000 units), and the son of the son claims 1333.33 units (to complete two-thirds of 5000 units), and the daughter and uncle claim all the rest, and this remains escrowed among them until they settle.
