Primary text
If the youngest daughter dies after the middle daughter, she leaves behind a grandmother who is a paternal sister. She inherits one-third by the convergence of kinship ties. Some scholars state she inherits one-sixth if inheritance is established by only one tie. Ibn Surayj and those who agree with him deem her entitled to half, which is the preferred view of Al-Khabari.
