Primary text
When inheriting based on the stronger of two kinship ties, the mother is not obstructed from inheriting due to her status as a sister to herself, except for what Sahnun narrated from Malik, who held that she was obstructed. The correct view from Malik is that she is not obstructed. If the inheritance is established through both kinship ties, then she inherits through both.
