What is the procedure if the child, whose paternity is disputed and subject to *Qafah*, dies before *Qafah* is performed?

If the child whose lineage is disputed in these scenarios dies before *Qafah* is performed but leaves behind offspring, the *Qafah* analysis is performed on his offspring against the claimants. If the two men who claimed paternity die, *Qafah* is consulted with their male heirs (*'asabah*).
