When a man marries two sisters and the order of the contracts is unknown, separation must occur between them. Regarding the dowry (mahr), a position defers to drawing lots (iqra'). If lots are drawn for the inheritance, it should be divided accordingly.

Supporting text

Al-Nakhai and Al-Sha'bi, along with Abu Hanifa and his associates, hold that the dowry and inheritance should be divided among the wives based on their claims and application, similar to the inheritance of a hermaphrodite (khunatha).
