Primary text

The estate belongs entirely to the paternal aunt of the father because she is nearer to the inheriting ancestor, being the sister of the grandfather, who is an heir. This opinion is held by the majority of those who calculate descent, as they grant the inheritance to the nearer relation in all cases.

Supporting text

If the grouping consists of a maternal aunt of the mother and a paternal aunt of the father, the maternal aunt of the mother receives one-sixth, and the paternal aunt of the father receives the remainder, as they are considered equivalent to a grandfather and grandmother.
