Primary text
When the judge sells the assets after declaring bankruptcy, it is recommended that the bankrupt attend the sale for four reasons: firstly, to tally and secure the proceeds; secondly, they know the value, quality, and defect of their goods, enabling them to point out unfair pricing (ghabn); thirdly, their presence increases demand, as buyers prefer purchasing directly from the owner; and fourthly, it brings peace of mind and comfort to the bankrupt.
