Primary text
It is recommended to sell every item in its appropriate marketplace—cloth in the cloth market, books in the book market, and so on—because this ensures greater security, higher demand, and accurate valuation. Selling outside the specific market is permissible if the item fetches its fair price, as the goal is securing the price, and sometimes expediency dictates selling elsewhere. If the judge specifies a location and price, selling it at that specified location for that price in another market is permissible.
