Primary text
If the creditors affirm that the bankrupt freed a slave prior to his bankruptcy, but he denies it, their statement is not accepted unless two just witnesses (*Adlan*) among them testify. Their ruling regarding taking possession of the slave or receiving his price, if offered by the bankrupt, is the same as the ruling if they had affirmed the price belonged to the seller.
