What is the ruling regarding a part-owner of a slave performing I'tikaf?

If a part-owner of a slave has an agreement (muhay'ah) with the master regarding usage days, the part-owner may perform I'tikaf on his allocated day without the master's permission because the master does not own his benefits on that day. On the master's day, the slave's ruling is that of a full slave.
