When is it obligatory to respond to the call 'As-Salatu Jami'ah' (Assembly for Prayer)?

When the Imam calls 'As-Salatu Jami'ah' due to an emergent matter requiring consultation, everyone must respond unless they have a legitimate excuse, such as being elderly, needing to water others, or treating the wounded, following the precedent of the Prophet (PBUH).
