Is making a peace treaty with enemies without demanding wealth permissible?

Making a peace treaty with enemies without any financial consideration is permissible. This is established by the action of the Prophet, peace be upon him, when he concluded the treaty of Hudaybiyyah without demanding wealth. If it is permissible without wealth, then permitting it with wealth is more appropriate.
