Primary text

If mobilization is called while the enemy is distant, and they have only sent scouts, the people pray and then proceed towards the enemy. If the enemy has already arrived and requests aid, they provide relief, victory, and pray while mounted, gesturing the prayer. The relief effort is considered superior to congregational prayer in this situation. The seeker and the sought shall pray mounted while moving, which is preferred. If the call for mobilization is heard after the Iqamah (call to prayer) has been made, the individual prays, making it brief, completing the bowing (ruku) and prostration (sujud), and reciting short chapters.
