Is a reinforcement entitled to a share if they join after the fighting has ended but before the spoils are secured in the abode of Islam, or if a captive joins them?

According to the apparent meaning of the statement of Al-Kharqi, they share because they arrived before the securing of the spoils. However, Al-Qadi ruled that ownership of the spoils is established immediately upon the conclusion of the fighting, even before securing them in the abode of Islam; under this view, they do not receive a share.
