What is the reward for one who fights in God's cause?

God guarantees entry into Paradise or safe return to one's home for one who ventures out solely for the purpose of striving in His path, believing in Him, and confirming His Messenger. Such an individual will attain whatever reward or spoils are gained. The striving in God's path is likened to the state of one who fasts and prays constantly. Furthermore, a morning or evening excursion in God's cause is superior to the entire world and everything in it.
