Primary text

A condition stipulating that any group within the disbelieving party may unilaterally dissolve the pact at any time renders the entire treaty invalid without dispute. This invalidates the objective of the treaty, which is to secure mutual safety and peace.

Supporting text

The contractual validity of the entire agreement when containing invalid conditions, other than the unilateral dissolution clause, is subject to two opinions, mirroring the rulings on invalid conditions in sales contracts.
