What is the ruling on a person taking a copy of the Mushaf (Quran) while campaigning into enemy territory?

A person should not campaign while taking a Mushaf with him into enemy territory. This is based on the Prophet's saying: 'Do not travel with the Quran to the land of the enemy,' as narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Athram.
