Primary text
The safe conduct granted by an insane person or a child is invalid because their speech is not considered, and no legal ruling is established by it. Likewise, the Aman of someone deprived of reason due to sleep, intoxication, or fainting is invalid because their speech is not considered, and they cannot distinguish between benefit and harm, thus resembling the insane.
