How is the spoil distributed if a free man joins a group of slaves or boys in acquiring spoils?

If a free man is present among them, he is granted one share and given preference over the others commensurate with the advantage free men have over slaves and boys in other contexts. The remaining spoils are then distributed among the rest according to the Imam's assessment of preference, because in this scenario, there is someone who is entitled to a standard share, distinguishing it from the case where only slaves and boys are involved.
