Primary text

If a merchant or laborer intends Jihad while present with the fighters, and their possession of goods is only for selling if requested, or if the laborer's primary intent is Jihad, then they are assigned a share because they are considered combatants. Artisans are placed in the same category as merchants; if they are prepared for combat and carry weapons, engaging when necessary, they receive a share because they are treated as others participating in Jihad, only attending to their trade when combat ceases.
