What is the disposition of the children of polytheists (Mushrikin) who die before puberty?

The ruling follows the statement of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Allah knows best what they would have been doing." Ibn Abbas initially held the view that the parents make them Jewish or Christian until he heard the prophetic statement regarding Allah's knowledge of their deeds, after which he abandoned his initial position. When questioned about the children of Muslims, there is no disagreement that they are in Paradise.
