What is the religious status of the child of Magians (Zoroastrians) whose parents claim the child as Muslim, and the child dies in infancy?

The child who dies at the age of five, despite the Magian parents' claim of Islam, must be buried in the Muslims' cemeteries. This is based on the Prophet's saying: "His parents either make him Jewish, Christian, or Magian," implying that since these parents did not establish the latter state upon the child, the child remains upon the innate disposition (*fitra*).
