What is the ruling regarding Jizya liability for a person who experiences permanent recovery after a partial period of insanity?

If a person is insane for half the year and then achieves continuous lucidity, no Jizya is incumbent upon him. If he is lucid for half the year and then becomes continuously insane, the Jizya is due from him only in proportion to the period of lucidity within that year.
