Rights are divided into two categories: rights belonging to a human being (Adamiyyin) and rights belonging to God Almighty (Ta'ala). Rights pertaining to a human being are further divided into two sections: those involving wealth or where wealth is the objective, and those that do not involve wealth or where wealth is not the objective.
