Is a judgment based on testimony, after which the witnesses retract, reversible against the party in whose favor the judgment was made?

There is no known dispute among the scholars that the judgment cannot be reversed against the party who benefited from the testimony, whether the property in question still exists or has been destroyed. An exception is noted concerning the views attributed to Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and al-Awza'i.
