Regarding the second major category, the rights of God Almighty, fixed punishments (Hudud) do not permit an oath to be prescribed. There is no known disagreement on this matter, as even if an individual confesses and subsequently retracts the confession before it is acted upon, the retraction is accepted without an oath. This is more fitting when there is no confession, as it is desirable to conceal (the sin) and offer the confessor an opportunity to retract.
