What is the ruling when someone making an oath adds 'In sha' Allah' (If God wills)?

Primary text
When an oath is taken and the speaker immediately follows it with 'In sha' Allah ta'ala,' the oath must be repeated. This is because the exception ('In sha' Allah') negates the legal effect of the oath itself. This ruling applies universally and is authoritative.
