Testimony regarding a killing requires a precise description of the act, such as stating, 'He wounded him and killed him,' or 'He struck him with X and killed him.' A general statement like, 'He struck him and he died,' is insufficient because the death might have resulted from something other than the blow. Shurayh rejected a testimony where the witness stated the deceased died after being leaned upon, because the witness could not confirm that the leaning caused the death or the killing.
